    • I am proud to say I grew up there. My Grandfather and grandmother, Clyde and Jerdie Calloway started the place in a shack. Later my mother, Elaine Calloway Goodhew took over and bought the place. She made it what it was. Elaine had a 8th grade education. The place was known for its hot slaw and family style service. Unfortunately after Markland Dam was put in the river level changed and the hillside there was made of shale and started slipping.
