- The first comment is correct, this photo is of Bill Gaines, Head Football Coach at SK from 1978-1980, and my Dad. His first year the team was 5-6, his second year they started 7-0 but finished 7-4 and missed the playoffs by a blocked extra point. My Dad was also hired as the head baseball coach, but in order to get John Finn from VA as his assistant football coach he gave Coach Finn the head baseball job which he coached for decades after. My Dad passed away on June 1, 2021 in Dayton, OH.

- This photo is of Coach Bill Gaines. He followed Carl Hayes as Head Coach of the Pioneers in the late 70s - early 80s.
