| Description: | A mermaid, Pamela Parenteau, and a crayfish, Peggy Eversole, (both of Cincinnati) competed in a race in Fountain Square (downtown Cincinnati). This was a 1989 promotional event for the Great Inland Seafood Festival to begin the following day in Sawyer Point. At the festival, the finest chefs from both Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati restaurants prepared the food at the 3-Day festival. There was also continuous musical entertainment. |
